How do I connect Apple Health?
During onboarding, Walkimals asks for permission to read step count from Apple Health. You can change this later in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security > Health > Walkimals.
How are coins earned?
Walkimals turns real-world steps into coin rewards. Daily milestones and checkpoints celebrate your progress as you walk.
How do I add friends?
Open the Friends area and use a friend code or invite link. Walkimals has no open discovery, so only people you add directly can join your friends list.
What step information can friends see?
Step sharing is optional and off until you enable it. Accepted friends can see derived step totals for leaderboard periods. Raw Apple Health samples never leave your device.
How do I remove my profile photo?
Open your Walkimals profile and remove or replace the optional photo. Removing it deletes the active photo from Walkimals storage.
How do I block or report someone?
Open the relevant friend profile to block or report that account. You can also email support for moderation or safety help.
How do I delete my account?
Open Walkimals Settings and choose Delete Account. This deletes the Firebase Authentication identity and associated Walkimals server data. A new anonymous account is created if you continue using the app.
Does Walkimals work without internet?
Core step tracking and walking rewards can work offline. Friends, leaderboards, profile photos, account changes, and step sharing require an internet connection.
What iOS version is required?
Walkimals requires iOS 18.0 or later and is designed for iPhone.
