Privacy Choices
Walkimals gives you direct controls over Health access, your social account, profile photos, friends, and your account.
Apple Health Access
Walkimals asks only for permission to read step count. You can change or revoke access at any time in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security > Health > Walkimals. Revoking access stops new Health step reads. Because step sharing is central to Walkimals, the core experience will ask you to restore access and consent. Revoking access does not delete totals that were already shared.
Step Sharing
Walkimals asks for explicit agreement to share derived daily and weekly step totals before you enter the core experience. There is no private solo mode or sharing toggle after onboarding. To stop future Health-derived uploads, revoke Walkimals Health access in iOS Settings. To permanently remove previously shared totals and leave the social service, delete your Walkimals account. Raw HealthKit samples never leave your device.
Profile Photo
A profile photo is optional. You can replace or remove it from your Walkimals profile. Removing it deletes the active photo from Walkimals storage. Photos are checked with Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch before they are shown to direct friends.
Friends And Safety
Walkimals has no public discovery, public feed, or free-text chat. You can remove a friend, block another user, or submit a report from the relevant friend profile. For urgent safety or moderation help, contact us using the support link below.
Android Waitlist
To remove an email address from the Android waitlist, email support\@walkimals.com from the subscribed address. Walkimals will delete the live waitlist record. Restricted disaster-recovery backups may retain the deleted record for up to 14 days before automatic expiry.
Delete Your Account
Open Walkimals Settings and choose Delete Account. This permanently deletes the Firebase Authentication identity and Walkimals backend account, including the profile photo, shared step snapshots, friends, blocks, reports, notification tokens, wallet ledger, inventory, equipped outfit, verified purchase state, feedback, invite state, and associated account identifiers. A new anonymous account is created if you continue using Walkimals.
Deleted database records may remain in restricted disaster-recovery backups for up to 14 days before automatic expiry. Local game data on your iPhone is removed when you delete the app.
