Apple Health Access

Walkimals asks only for permission to read step count. You can change or revoke access at any time in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security > Health > Walkimals. Revoking access stops new Health step reads but does not delete data you previously chose to share.

Step Sharing

Step sharing is off until you enable it. In Walkimals, open Settings and turn off Share step totals to stop future uploads. Walkimals uploads derived daily totals only; raw HealthKit samples never leave your device.

Profile Photo

A profile photo is optional. You can replace or remove it from your Walkimals profile. Removing it deletes the active photo from Walkimals storage. Photos are checked with Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch before they are shown to direct friends.

Friends And Safety

Walkimals has no public discovery, public feed, or free-text chat. You can remove a friend, block another user, or submit a report from the relevant friend profile. For urgent safety or moderation help, contact us using the support link below.

Delete Your Account

Open Walkimals Settings and choose Delete Account. This permanently deletes the Firebase Authentication identity and Walkimals backend account, including the profile photo, shared step snapshots, friends, blocks, reports, notification tokens, and associated account identifiers. A new anonymous account is created if you continue using Walkimals.

Deleted database records may remain in restricted disaster-recovery backups for up to 14 days before automatic expiry. Local game data on your iPhone is removed when you delete the app.
