Apple Health Access

On iPhone, Walkimals asks for permission to read step count, walking and running distance, and active energy. You can change or revoke access at any time in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security > Health > Walkimals. Revoking access stops new Health step reads. Because step sharing is central to Walkimals, the core experience will ask you to restore access and consent. Revoking access does not delete totals that were already shared.

Health Connect Access

On Android, Walkimals asks for permission to read steps, distance, and active calories burned from Health Connect, to read in the background, and to read past data. You can change or revoke any of these permissions at any time in Health Connect under App permissions > Walkimals. Revoking step access stops new step reads. Because step sharing is central to Walkimals, the core experience will ask you to restore access and consent. Revoking access does not delete totals that were already shared.

Step Sharing

Walkimals asks for explicit agreement to share derived daily and weekly step totals before you enter the core experience. There is no private solo mode or sharing toggle after onboarding. To stop future Health-derived uploads, revoke Walkimals Health access in iOS Settings or Walkimals step access in Health Connect on Android. To permanently remove previously shared totals and leave the social service, delete your Walkimals account. Raw HealthKit samples and raw Health Connect records never leave your device.

Profile Photo

A profile photo is optional. You can replace or remove it from your Walkimals profile. Removing it deletes the active photo from Walkimals storage. Photos are checked with Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch before they are shown to direct friends.

Friends And Safety

Walkimals has no public discovery, public feed, or free-text chat. You can remove a friend, block another user, or submit a report from the relevant friend profile. For urgent safety or moderation help, contact us using the support link below.

Android Testing Applications

To remove an Android testing application or earlier waitlist email, use the contact form and enter the submitted email address. Walkimals will delete the live database record. Telegram notification copies are removed manually; database deletion does not automatically remove those copies. Restricted disaster-recovery backups may retain the deleted record for up to 14 days before automatic expiry.

Status Updates

To delete your status, press and hold it on Home and choose Delete. Friends stop seeing it right away. To turn notifications about friends' statuses on or off, open Walkimals Settings and use Friend status updates.

Delete Your Account

Open Walkimals Settings and choose Delete Account. This permanently deletes the Firebase Authentication identity and Walkimals backend account, including the profile photo, shared step snapshots, status updates, friends, blocks, reports, notification tokens, wallet ledger, inventory, equipped outfit, verified purchase state, feedback, invite state, and associated account identifiers. A new anonymous account is created if you continue using Walkimals.

Deleted database records may remain in restricted disaster-recovery backups for up to 14 days before automatic expiry. Local game data on your device is removed when you delete the app.

Request Deletion Without The App

If you no longer have Walkimals, enter your Walkimals friend code below. The account and the data listed above will be deleted 30 days after your request. Any use of Walkimals with that account before then, including background step syncing, cancels the request, so an account that is still in use cannot be deleted from this page.
